There were 3 varied forms of the Black Death symptoms. Symptoms stared 3-6 days after the person became infected with the plague. Bubonic plague symptoms consisted of painful enlargement of the lymph nodes, chills, headache, fever and weakness. The septicaemic plague included symptoms such as fever, weakness, adnominal pains, chills and shock. Pneumonic plague had symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, cough, fevers, chills, nausea, vomiting and diarrheal.
